One Earthlingㅤ_{One Old Soul}

A man with a gentle heart, albeit not naive as he carries the strength and wisdom in him. Gabriel would welcome anyone who need help from him, yet he wouldn't turn a blind eye to anything that he deemed as suspicious. However, when it comes to his loved ones, gentleness tends to overcome his mind so he could come as protective, perhaps a bit nagging, as Gabriel—before any titles that he had—was the first-born child.Calm and composed, at least on the surface. People who are close to him describe him as “less quiet than our first encounter.” He loves to listen yet he also doesn't hesitate to share—or even shouts—his thoughts when needed: genuine sympathy or the other side of the matter, warm comfort or bitter truth. This leads some to see him as wise, while some judge him as a smart-ass.One thing that people could agree on is Gabriel has a shitty weird sense of humor as it's easy to make him laugh; perhaps too easy, even a cold joke would still make him snort out a chuckle. (And although this is what makes Gabriel's presence more pleasant, some couldn't help but wonder, if the laughter was caused by the turmoil that's going on inside him.)

Confused _{yet blessed}

Johannes Elimar Jung was an ordinary man blessed with intelligence and compassion. His wish to help people lead his way to be a doctor. He did have another thing that he loved—music, yet let us say that his attempt to be a musician wasn't as fruitful as his attempt to be a doctor.Johannes' love for music was his red string toward a Korean woman, studying far away from her homeland to chase her dream in Germany. Jung Mira was a splendor pianist that took the composition major. Both of them meet at an art festival, where Johannes helped his friend as a backup saxophonist, and they were waiting for their turn to perform. It started with the organizer mispronouncing Mira's surname as Johannes' surname, which led them to crack a chuckle before exchanging some pleasant conversations; nervousness and anxiety were slowly washed away as they found lots of common ground in each other.Then, love bloomed between Johannes and Mira. In spite of all the cultural differences and distances that they needed to went through to earn their family's blessings, their heart was united and each of their ring fingers wore its anchor.A few years later, a baby boy was born when the air was warm and the snow has melted. That was Gabriel Jihyun Jung, a boy born and raised within two different cultures.

Gabriel was loved by his parents, but also entrusted with responsibilities and strictness so he could grow as a fine man. Being raised with the right amount of love and scolding made him a kind boy who knew how he should treat others and how he should be treated by others. Gabriel's presence was liked by his friends and relatives—moreover when he inherited his father's intelligence and his mother's sense of humor. Yet the blissful moment must reach its end as his parents need to went through a long-distance marriage so he needed to move to South Korea with his mother.At first, the euphoria of discovering his second homeland filled his mind. New places, authentic food, and his loving relatives were something that made Seoul feel familiar to his senses. Young Gabriel felt happy as he discovered new things while still keeping in touch with his old friend. Everything was great until he put his feet in his new school—making friends in a different culture and its high standard of school life wasn't easy at all.“Just mingle with them, what's difficult about it?” they said.But God, it was exhausting.The time when Gabriel was accepted by his classmates was when there was a difficult task to do. Other than that, he spent his time mostly alone until the time for club activities. Gabriel also didn't let them know how it bothered him how they only come to him when they need his help. Perhaps it was him who was being too sensitive. But it was a big, big mistake as the gentle one who stood alone was easier to be targeted as the black sheepSo Gabriel became another living witness of a man who was a wolf to another man.And he was capable to be a wolf himself, or perhaps───hunter. He regretted his doing, as who gained the most disadvantage wasn't him, but his parents.But how lovely they were, laughing and telling him that it wasn't his fault. That it was very understandable that he threw his fist at them.

His bittersweet adolescent age triggered something in Gabriel. Something that he couldn't put a finger on, yet people regard it as rumination. After the incident, he often pondered about how dangerous humans can be if they were blinded, yet the same being also held compassion to the point that they were able to be martyrs. This something wasn't bothering him at all, in fact, it inspired him to went on an endless journey to study humans.After finishing his bachelor's degree, the long-distance marriage between Johannes and Mira ended. The Jungs finally reunited again and live in Germany, yet Gabriel decided to continue his postgraduate program in a different city. Changes were inevitable, as he didn't find what he used to have in his old city, so why don't live in different places?Mayhaps, he found the source or cure to his pondering and uneasiness somewhere.

Greetings. Here I go by the name Patra. Thank you for reading to the point of this page! Below has listed some notes and how I roll during writing.1. All places that were written on this page and plots, although some of them exist in real life, are mentioned solely for fictional purposes.2. I would like to address that plots are very possible to contain themes related to alcohol usage, blood, crimes, and sexual contents. I understand that sometimes it's more comfortable by writing in DM (as in general plots and not limited to mature kinds of stuff), and I'm also down with it.
